The Ladies of One Faith Fellowship

Our History!

It was at the Los Angeles Embassy Hotel at a 2006 Overcomers Bible Fellowship Conference, where the Glory of God was truly experienced!  The Spirit of God took the attendees “Behind His Veil” and oh what a time, what a time, what a time! It was an AWESOME experience!  The potency of what God did in such a short time was unbelievable!!

It was during this Conference that God planted the seed of the One Faith Fellowship Mandate! This occurred when after experiencing the Glory of God, one of the visiting Pastors asked “where had our group been!  He exclaimed that he and his wife wanted to be a part of our fellowship!  Shortly thereafter, God birth forth–One Faith Fellowship.  It is truly believed by many people that God is going to do world-wide ministry through One Faith Fellowship.

So then, One Faith Fellowship, spiraled from a Mandate” placed in my heart and spirit by God, our Heavenly Father. One knows that when that occurs, it is like fire shut-up in our bones, to move us into action.

The mandate was to establish and provide opportunities for our Kingdom-Family to gather together in Jesus name, thus transcending Denominational Walls. As this is done, we will truly experience the love, power and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ; for we are family.

It is such a wonderful opportunity, blessing, privilege and joy to be named in the Family of God.  Anyone who truly has a thriving, loving and intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ will attest of this previous statement.  Even though I know it won’t ever be the following way for various reasons, but it would be convenient in many cases if all family members lived together in the same house or neighborhood.  We know this can happen because no one house would be able to accommodate every one of our family members or because God’s purpose for our individual lives causes us to be planted in various locations.  Therefore, family members must and will end up in various locations and neighborhoods.  But they still are family.

This truth is also the case for the One Faith Fellowship Family. As long as Jesus Christ is at the center of what you confess and believe, we are all family, planted in various places to cultivate that area of the earth for the Kingdom of God .

St. John 10:16 describes it quite well.  Jesus said:  in the King James version- And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, [and] one shepherd.

Other sheep I have which are not of this fold: These “other sheep” are Gentile believers, not of the fold of Israel . Jesus brings Jewish and Gentile Christians together into one foldThere is one flock and one shepherd; Jesus calls His sheep from more than one fold (group of people).

Just because one is not a member of your sheepfold, church or ministry, does not mean they are not of Christs’ family.    One flock and One shepherd= One Faith Fellowship

Acts 2: 42, 46-47
42–And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
46–And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
47–Praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Ephesians 4:4, 5, 6
4-[There is] one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5-One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6-One God and Father of all, who [is] above all, and through all, and in you all.

So, One Faith Fellowship, a Non-Denominational Fellowship, seeks to walk in the truth of the above Scriptures. We just as well get use to it here on this side of Glory, so that we will be accustomed to fellow shipping with saints of various Jesus-Centered denominations or flocks.

God is SO VERY GOOD TO US!  WE LOVE HIM SO VERY MUCH!! WHAT ABOUT YOU?

One Faith Fellowship family celebrated our first major 2008 event at the Proud Bird Restaurant.  It was an awesome, beautiful, spirit-filled, and glorious time of enrichment!  Several Bible-Believing, Jesus-loving individuals from various churches and ministries came together and celebrated our Christian kin-ship.

Lewis T. Lewis warmly and graciously opened the event, along with introducing our electrifying and lively MC, Evangelist Pam Powell. Mother Marie Knox powerfully led us to the Throne of God, by rendering the invocation. Joseph Lewis shared the Scripture of Ephesians 4:1-6- New Living Translation:  1 Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. 2 Be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. 3 Always keep yourselves united in the Holy Spirit, & bind yourselves together with peace. 4 We are all one body, we have the same Spirit, and we have all been called to the same glorious future. 5 There is only one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 and there is only one God and Father, who is over us all and in us all and living through us all.

Speaker for the event was Dr. Tonya Lewis, who was escorted by her oldest son, Mr. Terrell Lewis. The special highlight of the day was the Ordination Ceremony conducted by Pastor Dr. Vicki Lee-Johnson and the Saints of Value World Ministries.  Added to Dr. Lewis’s already ministerial official role was the conferring as an Ordained Minister-Pastor of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We thank other program participants who added blessings to the event, including:  Cliff Gober, Labron Ralph Williams, Anthony Turner, Lady Deborah Callahan, Evangelist Anita Turner, Evangelist Brenda Jones, Paula Thomas, Fannie Humphery, Evangelist Rebecca Odums, Aaron and Kathryn Garnett-Thompson, LaRhonda Amos, Barbara Smith, Syeeda Jacobs, Al Richardson, William Hampton, Rickey Brown, Brent Turner, every host and hostess and EVERYONE WHO DID ANYTHING TO ASSIST WITH THE DAY!

Several vendors were present, including:  Sistie’s Shop @ Home & Gidney Entertainment, Fashion Jewelry by DACP, Bennett’s Destiny Travel, and Pat Jones Art Collections, who added to the occasion by showcasing products and goods at the Proud Bird Restaurant.  Vendor space will also be available.
